Problem: A new corporate governance code was being implemented.
Task: Calculate & raise the ROI of a new code.
Results: Initial ROI was low because employees did not understand the code’s relevance. After implementing our recommendation, the ROI of the code was very high. Areas most impacted were operating efficiency, drops in HR related legal costs and behavioral transgressions.
Recommendation: Train middle managers and later lower levels in negotiation techniques (1-2 day courses). These techniques would equip key personnel with the dialectic skills needed to integrate the code into their behavior in the company and to defend it towards colleagues.
